What is Yoga Therapy?

In the Yogāyush method, Yoga therapy is an integrative and complementary practice. Yoga techniques and application of practices are customised to alleviate different levels of health challenges to manage conditions, reduce symptoms, restore balance and increase vitality. Yoga therapy aims to alleviate his/her suffering in a progressive, non-invasive and complementary manner. Depending upon the nature of the illness, Yoga therapy is not just preventive or curative, but also serves a means to manage the illness, or facilitate healing in the person at all levels. 

Yoga therapy is the adaptation of yoga practices for people with health challenges. A specific regimen of sukshma vyāyāma, āsana, prānāyāma, ṣaṭkriya, mudrā, yoga nidra, japa, dhārana and dhyāna will be prescribed to suit the individual needs. 

Details of Therapy Sessions: 

Yoga Therapy Sessions will be scheduled as per the convenience of the student and the teacher post discussions.

· Each class will be for 60 minutes.

· The class will begin with understanding the problems and issues faced by the student, along with their health parameters

· At the end of the course and sessions signed up for, the teacher will give the student a specific course plan with clear directions for self-practice.
